Calm, silly, hardworking and always smiling. She loves color red, high-waisted jeans and doesn‘t understand, how girls can wear high heels daily – its just too uncomfortable. These are only few words, that can describe singer Monika Linkytė.
An interview with singer Monika Linkytė is represented by “Rent Boutique” a fashion clothing rental service that initiated a social awareness campaign “I’m THAT girl”.
The meeting with melancholic popsinger Monika Linkytė was held in “Trinity” restaurant, while she was wearing “Rent Boutique” dresses.
Why reasonable consumption of fashion is important to You?
We are living in a material world, having too many unnecessary things. It is very hard to dodge continuous propositions to buy, to exchange old to new, to consume, never stoping to think about the cost to the environment. It’s wonderful to know, that over time, more and more opportunities are developing, to live responsibly, for example sharing dresses, renting them. Which girl likes to wear exclusive dresses more than once? I, personaly, love wearing long lasting clothing, I do not chace all short-term trends, I give preference to the labels, that responsibly produce their materials.
